LINEA - a series of sandcasted planters in aluminium
LINEA is a family of planters, designed by the award-winning Swedish designer Monica Förster. Each planter is carefully sand-cast in recycled aluminum, giving them a rustic surface and a unique expression, where no planter is exactly the same. Inspired by the Korbo basket, Monica Förster has created a form and concept that preserves the basket’s tactility and craftsmanship values. The design plays with and highlights the “negative” form of the wire used to weave the baskets, which is brought to life in the carved-out lines of the planters.
